from now on I will be known by "Evil Nils"
make a note of it (the Van Dyke, shaved head and Lenin/Lennon specs should help you figure it out the difference).
have a great day.

Evil Nils.. Phineas Gage.. Lenin...
Sat, November 22, 2003 - 12:26 PMevil is.. as evil does???
or can anyone BE inherently evil?
just curious... I like the sound of the word myself.
The archetypes of evil are often very entertaining
(especially when our story-formula-makers are
increasing our culture's diet of attractive evil people...)
but hey... is evil a choice or something in the brain?
I have been reading a bit more about ol' Phineas Gage...
I would like to post some of the ideas from this book in the next few weeks
to see what other people think. -

Re: Evil Nils.. Phineas Gage.. Lenin...
Sun, November 23, 2003 - 12:57 AMah yes, the ol' Phineas Gage...had his head blown-up in an unfortunate railway constuction accident, seems he lived but once he healed the people who knew him discovered he had lost completely his ability to behave ethically. basically he was a dick...
i'm not really evil, but i am wicked fucked-up sometimes, and my new shaved head makes me look wicked intense. so to answer your question, i don't know whether evil is a choice, my personal beliefs are that ethics are inherent in people, but most philosifers would take me to task for that overly simplistic view. i like the idea of our culture being fed a diet of attractive evil people, i live in Hollywood and it's practically a religion here (yeah, it's called Scientology)
please post the ideas from your book, i'm very interested.
